June 2019 Winner

 Vincent Good 

Congratulations to Vincent Good, our Victus Player of the Month award winner for June! Vincent finished his school year with a 3.8 GPA and has been described by coaches and teammates as an “outstanding team leader that willingly arrives early and stays late after every practice to improve his game.” For the month of June, Vincent put his hard work on display with a .531 batting average, .652 on base percentage, and a 1.531 slugging percentage. Vincent hit 10 home runs, drove in 28 runs, and scored 26 runs of his own while also being intentionally walked 6 times. Vincent accounted for 50 percent of his team’s offense for the month, hitting the 10 home runs in just 12 games played. Vincent and his team played in Cooperstown, where he hit 2 grand slams and one home run… in one game. In that game, Vincent knocked in 9 RBI’s and finished the New York tournament with 7 home runs when it was all said and done. Vincent earned the respect of coaches throughout the tournament as he was plunked 7 times and intentionally walked another 6 times, while also stealing 10 bases and leading the team in every offensive statistical category. On the mound, Vincent racked up 18 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched. Vincent has been described as an “outstanding and kind young man” that is deserving of this award and truly representative of the Renegades program.
