October 2019 Winner

Anece Zubler

We are excited to announce that our Victus Player of the Month for October is Anece Zubler. Anece has been selected as October’s Victus Player of the Month after an impressive month for her 12u Lady Renegades team. Anece led the team in batting average (.500), slugging percentage (.917), OPS (1.488), home runs (1), RBI’s (4), and total bases (11). Additionally, she tallied a .600 on base percentage, 4 runs scored, and 5 stolen bases. Anece hit her first home run as a Lady Renegade, and the first for the team, in the Halloween Havoc Tournament at Spooky Nook. Anece played in two tournaments with her recreation team while serving as their primary catcher. Her triple in the semi-final of the first tournament drove in the go ahead, and eventual winning run, sending her team to the championship game. Anece has emerged as a vocal leader for her Lady Renegades team by communicating plays, leading cheers, and providing positive support for her teammates. Off the diamond, Anece serves as the starting attacking midfielder for her club soccer team, Penn FC 12u Blue. During the fall, she has contributed to the team’s first tournament championship (PA Classic’s Keystone Cup), and has helped them maintain a winning record in the team’s first season playing in the Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer League (PAGS). In the classroom, Anece continues to excel with the transition from elementary to middle school, maintaining A’s in all subjects, toward the end of the first quarter. Anece has received numerous academic awards over the past few years for her achievements. We are proud to announce another, well-deserving award, as our Victus Player of the Month for October. Congratulations, Anece
