Travis Eckert brings many years of collegiate experience to the Academy.​ He was catcher and 3rd base at Northampton Community College from 1995-1997. He was also played for Lancaster County Twilight from 1995-2000.

In addition to his college playing experience, Travis also has several years of coaching experience. He coached Palmyra Little League All-Stars for 6 years. He also coached 9u-18u for the Central Penn Renegades. Travis had 9 of his 18u players from 2022 go off to college to play baseball!

Travis is currently the Head Coach for the 9u Central Penn Renegades.
